Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization, with over 45,000 clubs and more than 1.3 million members in over 200 countries. Lions Club of Bombay Millennium is proud to be a part of this global network, with a strong and growing membership of around 100 dedicated individuals.
Our journey began in 1999, with 26 founding members who came together with a shared passion for service. We were officially chartered by Lions Clubs International on August 15, 1999.
Our members include prominent industrialists, entrepreneurs, and professionals from diverse fields such as Textiles, Steel, Non-Ferrous Metals, Pharmaceuticals, Engineering Products, Logistics, Transportation, Construction, and Medicine. This diversity brings strength and expertise to our service initiatives. The club holds a general meeting at least once a month, in addition to project-specific gatherings.
The club’s activities are guided by an elected Board of Directors, which includes the President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Treasurer, three Vice Presidents, seven Directors, a Tail Twister, a Tamer, three Trustees, and special invitees. Various committees are formed to plan and execute the wide range of service and administrative functions. Every member is encouraged to participate and contribute to the club’s vision and mission.
Beyond service, Lions Club of Bombay Millennium also serves as a platform for personal growth, leadership development, and networking. Many of our members hold key positions in trade bodies, industry associations, and other social organizations. We take immense pride in the calibre, commitment, and compassion of our members.
